04Tesla charging
Tesla charging for your property, engineered and built by one team.
Four ways in: host a Tesla-owned Supercharger site, buy your own Superchargers through Supercharger for Business, join Destination Charging, or install your own chargers with the connector Teslas and most new EVs now use. We handle the site engineering, the permits, the construction, and the solar canopy over the stalls.
Four routes
Which Tesla charging project is yours?
They end in similar site work and start from very different economics. Pick the route that matches the property, then let us carry the engineering and construction.

Retail centers, travel plazas, restaurants on major corridors
Host a Supercharger site
Tesla funds, owns, operates, and maintains the chargers. You provide the stalls and access under a long-term agreement. We prepare the site information Tesla asks for and design and build the host side: civil, electrical coordination, lighting, ADA stalls, and the canopy if you want one.

Buy your own Superchargers
Tesla's Supercharger for Business program sells white-labeled Superchargers to businesses, four posts minimum. You set the price and keep the revenue, Tesla operates and services them, and you bring the installer. We engineer and build the whole site: utility service, switchgear, pads, conduit, accessible stalls, and the canopy.

Destination Charging
Level 2 Wall Connectors for guests at hotels, resorts, restaurants, and retail, listed in Tesla navigation. A conventional charging project with Tesla hardware: load study, panel, raceway, mounting, permit, and rebate check.

Your own NACS chargers
Networked Level 2 or dual-cable DC fast chargers with the J3400 connector Teslas and most new EVs use, billed on your terms, eligible for utility rebates, and paired with a solar canopy over the stalls.

Tesla charging stations for your business: the four ways in
A property owner has four routes to Tesla charging: host a Tesla-owned Supercharger site, buy your own Superchargers through Tesla's Supercharger for Business program, join Destination Charging with Wall Connectors for guests, or install your own chargers with the NACS (SAE J3400) connector. What each requires, who pays, and where the engineering comes in.

How to host a Tesla Supercharger site
Tesla owns and operates Superchargers; property owners host them. What makes a site attractive to Tesla, what the host agreement typically covers, how much utility capacity a fast-charging site needs, and the civil and electrical work a host should expect on its side of the line.

Tesla Supercharger for Business: what you buy, what you build, what Tesla runs
Since September 2025, Tesla sells Superchargers to businesses. The owner buys at least four white-labeled posts, hires its own installer, sets the price, and keeps the revenue, while Tesla operates and services the site. How the program works, what the site build involves, and how to size the electrical service.

NACS / J3400: what the Tesla connector means for commercial charging
Tesla's connector became the North American Charging Standard and then SAE J3400. Most automakers now ship vehicles with it. What that means when you specify chargers for a parking lot in 2026: connector choices, adapters, dual-cable fast chargers, and how to future-proof the conduit.

Tesla Wall Connectors at apartments and workplaces
Tesla's Wall Connector is a Level 2 charger that delivers up to 11.5 kW and can share a circuit among several units. How a multifamily or workplace installation is designed, how billing works for commercial hosts, what the 2025 CALGreen code requires, and where utility rebates apply.
Questions
Straight answers on Tesla charging.
- Can GreenSource get my property a Tesla Supercharger?
- For a Tesla-owned site, Tesla selects hosts against its own network plan and no contractor can guarantee one; we prepare the site and build the host's side so a selected site moves quickly. If you want Superchargers without waiting for selection, Tesla's Supercharger for Business program sells them to businesses, four posts minimum, and the owner brings the installer. We build those sites end to end.
- Do I need Tesla-branded chargers to serve Tesla drivers?
- No. Any charger with a J3400 connector charges a Tesla natively, and Teslas use J1772 Level 2 chargers with the adapter they ship with. Many owners choose networked hardware with J3400 cables for billing control and rebate eligibility.
- Can a Tesla charging site have a solar canopy?
- Yes. The canopy is the property owner's structure and is designed around the charging equipment and cable reach. It adds shade, generation, and a visible structure, and it qualifies for the solar incentives separately from the charging rebates.
- Who handles the utility?
- For a Tesla-owned Supercharger site, Tesla typically handles the charger service with the utility; the host often coordinates easements and transformer placement. For Destination Charging and owner-installed chargers, we handle the service evaluation, load study, and any upgrade application with the utility.
